- •Coverage: spray surfaces until wet and dripping, not soaking. Denser vegetation uses more product.
- •0-5ft from your home, treat all vegetation, wooden, or combustible surfaces that cannot be removed.

Does Clore actually help protect my home from wildfire?
Clore is designed to add an extra layer of wildfire defense to areas most likely to ignite around your home, including vegetation, decks, fencing, sheds, and wood surfaces. It is not a replacement for defensible space, home hardening, or firefighters, but it can help reduce ignition risk on treated areas when applied as directed. During last year's Southern California fires, private firefighters verified that 16 Clore-treated homes faced direct fire or ember exposure, and all survived. Outcomes vary, but that is why many homeowners use Clore as an added layer of protection before wildfire risk rises. Clore has been third party tested and passed for effectiveness by CAL FIRE.
What areas around my home should I spray?
Clore is designed to be treated on your property's most vulnerable surfaces to provide ignition resistance. These are any vegetation within 5 ft of your house siding. Wooden decks or fences attached to your home. House wooden siding (test spray on small surface first). Trees or sheds within 50 ft of your home. Other combustible surfaces near the home that could carry fire to the house.
Is Clore safe for pets, plants, and people?
Yes. Clore is third-party tested and designed to be safe for pets, plants, and people. It is made for homeowners who want added wildfire protection without applying something harsh or uncomfortable around their property. Our product was tested by StillMeadow, Inc. and showed no clinical signs of acute oral toxicity during the testing. The test substance acute oral LD50 is greater than 5000mg/kg. This represents category IV in the EPA 4 toxicity categories for acute hazards of pesticide products; which is the lowest hazard category, the same category as milk.
How long does Clore last after I apply it?
Clore is designed to last 8 months of UV exposure or 3 inches of rain, meaning you typically only need to apply Clore once per season. If there is heavy rainfall of 3 inches cumulative or greater, then reapply Clore. However, if these conditions arise, usually you are out of fire season.
Do I need a contractor to apply Clore?
No. Clore kits are designed for homeowners to apply themselves using the included battery sprayer, adjustable nozzles, and jugs of Clore long-term retardant. Most applications can be completed in under 90 minutes, depending on the size of the property and the areas being treated.
Is Clore ready to use, or does it need to be mixed?
The 5-gallon kits are ready to use. The 10, 20, and 30-gallon kits are a concentrate that mixes 50/50 with water to make their full ready to use amount.
Will Clore leave marks or change how my property looks?
Clore typically does not leave a mark when sprayed on vegetation or wood surfaces. You may see a glaze on your surface like you would see on a donut, however, this is not often the case. Do not spray Clore on metal as it may leave discoloring if left on over time. Clore is not corrosive.
What are the ingredients in Clore?
Clore operates under trade secret. However, the formula is salts based. It is safe for vegetation, animals, and humans. It is in an EPA toxicity level equivalent to milk or lemonade.
